This county-wide industrial development corporation is focused on promoting and facilitating business opportunities. Services include business and financial planning, technical assistance, site evaluations, grant writing, financial programs and marketing assistance. Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau
The core purpose of the Visitor's Bureau is to generate business for the community by aggressively promoting the Raystown Lake and Huntingdon County Region. Our Web Site features visitor information concerning area businesses and services, directions for travelers to our area and an online request for visitor information.
Juniata College Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership
The Juniata College Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (JCEL) ) is a business-creation center on the Juniata College campus. JCEL's mission, since its opening in January 2003, is to provide entrepreneurial resources, support and encouragement to residents of the greater Huntingdon County area and the members of the Juniata College community. JCEL has a management contract with Huntingdon County Business and Industry the county-wide economic development agency for Huntingdon County. In addition, JCEL has responsibility for managing the Huntingdon County Enterprise Zone.
